# How to Add Custom Shift Data Records?

To add new Shift Properties, you can follow these three simple steps:

1. On the Custom Shift Data Records page, go to **Add New Shift Data** and click **Add a New Field**.
2. Next, **enter a field name** and select the **value type** from text, decimal, or Boolean.
3. Click **Save**,and you're good to go!
