What is Pareto Analysis?

Pareto analysis shows you the primary cause of a line has delivering low performance, availability, or quality in a given shift. Typically, finding the biggest loss-inducing factors can be painstaking while going through dozens of reason codes to analyze. Pareto Analysis takes care of drilling down upon the reason codes that are the biggest contributors to a downturn in a shift's production Performance, Availability, and Quality.

By using this data, one can pinpoint and work on fixing the issue to find a substantial improvement in the overall production.

Performance Issues

Find the most recurring errors hindering the line's optimal production speed, causing the most amount of performance loss in a shift. The performance loss reason codes and count are mentioned for a detailed perspective.

Availability Issues

This graph and chart display the most commonly occurring issues for unplanned downtime and stops, including changeover time. The downtime reason codes and duration are mentioned for detailed insight.

Quality Issues

Detect the highest instances of errors that create the most amount of rejects (defects) and low-quality output. The quality loss (rejects/waste) reason codes and number of damaged units.

Helpful Tips:

  • Interact with the graph and pie charts to discover in-depth insights on the most problematic aspects from the level 1 and level 2 reason codes.

  • Hover over graphs and charts to find detailed data on the number of error entries and their respective Pareto percentages.

  • Click on individual metrics and tags to study individual aspects of the graph or chart.
